ATMA Research Presented at International Conference!

In June 2023 two ATMA research projects were selected for presentation at the International Conference on Emergency Medicine (ICEM) in beautiful Amsterdam! Both presentations were well received and the team is now working hard to publish these findings.

We presented two projects which you can learn more about below:
- Non-communicable disease burden in high-altitude inhabitants of the Zanskar Valley in Ladakh, India
- Cardiac function in permanent high-altitude inhabitants of the Zanskar

These projects provide further insight into ways health is impacted in these remote, high altitude regions of the world and allows us to find better ways to help the people who live there. As with all ATMA projects it wouldn't happen without your support.
