Research Presentation: ATMA Access to Health LIM 2015 Poster
We are excited that what started out as just an idea has been able to expand into a thorough research study with important implications for healthcare professionals, health NGO's and policy makers in the region.
Moving forward we are planning on continuing with the analysis of this data and incorporating it with more data regarding geographic barriers to health services gathered from the Ladakh Heart Foundation Hospital in Leh, Jammu & Kashmir. Together, we hope that this information will provide local NGO's with useful data with which to determine where the greatest need for health services is in eastern Himachal Pradesh. This applied, evidence-based research model allows us to ensure that the work we do is being utilized to full effect.
Finally, we'd like to thank all members who dedicated their time to making this project a reality and, of course, to the participants who were involved in this study.
